My wife needed to visit her elderly parents in Houlton and could not get anyone to make the ride. I offer to drive her even though I do have a lot to do because our business starts to get very busy this time of year. She realized what time of the year it is and really appreciated the gesture. I snowmobile in "The County" about an hour north of her parents.Since I check in on her parents every trip I ride, I asked her if she minds if I bring my sled up and I would let her spend time with her parents. She says no problem I owe you . (Love,Love,Love this women)The northern most part of Arostock county continues to get snow where no where else in Maine is getting any and the ridding has been great. I rode 3500 miles this year and that was mid February to last week.I am up here now and the forecast was to be rain Monday and Tuesday but now it is changed to 5-9 inches of snow.Thank you God ! But wait, it gets even better. Yesterday I texted my Yamaha dealer Happy Easter and he does the same and then tells me the trails are still holding up. I tell him I will be up on Monday and Tuesday and he texts me back that is great because he is going to have the new SideWinders at his dealership and they will be serving food as well. After a somewhat disappointing year with too much rain in the first half of the year I am blown away at how the year is finishing.Definitely counting my blessings. Happy belated Easter to my TY family and hoping for a great year of riding for everyone next season, especially all the people snow checking new sleds,Preacher

I think you should hook up with me and SNOWBEAST this year. Heck i think we need a MAINE TTY ride!

It's totally your call but if it were me I would want the 137 under all that HP. It is going to be a monster. One of the sleds that will be in Caribou today was the one that dynoed at 206 Hp. We can't use all of the HP if the track doesn't hook.congrates on your snow check. I am holding off one more year. I want to pay down on my car but next year this time I hope there is a new Apex and if not it's a SideWinder LTX LE

My boy and I wanted to ride this week, always take the last week of Feb and March to ride. Feb was a bust.

We are going to come up and try for one more, where would be a good place to start... as far as how far north? I feel like crap not getting our last ride in....

I rode all day Monday in VanBuren, Limestone , Caswell and Caribou .Monday night it rained real hard where I was in Houlton, but it changed to snow. The closer you get to the Canadian border the better the trails. Those border towns got more snow. I rode in Caribou today and there was a good amount of snow but there was some very slushy spots and some large areas of very deep water. There were many trees down on the trails as well.i did not ride all the way up but If you want to ride this week go to FortKent, Frenchville, St Agatha, Madawaska, Van Buren. If it is busy and it may be then Madawaska and VanBuren will be better ridding

Not a problem,we could do that leave patten, head over to Houlton make our way up to caribou, cross back over 90 to portage, head south down to 85 Ashland,go club trail 71c to oxbow back out to 85 south to shin pond and back to patten,be a big day,but nice 350 mile ride.

Sounds like you luck dogs got to see the two john had at Gary's Yamaha in caribou,i hear john was trying to convince the two reps to let him blast one down the bed...lol crappy day out with all the wet heavy snow,my boys just did 450 miles up there last Thursday evening thru sat. noon at russells motel.

John had Ski-Doo guys in there snochecking The SideWinder. He already sold 10 . Yamaha will sell a boatload of these sleds. Next year when guys can take a demo ride they will sell even more. The rep for Yamaha assured me we are going to see a new Apex. When I asked he looked me straight in the eye and said Yamaha is not done bringing new sleds to the market. Also,Cam told me it will be easy to get anther 50 Horsepower out of this SideWinder . It won't take a lot of $'s to do it.I think a 350 miler would be a great way to start the season next year.
