Well I sold my 2007 Attak 2 weeks ago waiting for the new 2010 release for Yamaha and after seeing no changes for 2010 I am going to p/u a leftover 2009 Renegade 1200 4tec. I have had nothing but good luck with my Yamaha, but the weight being my only issue of note. I test rode the Nytro xtx for 250 miles last week and while its a fine sled, it is designed for off trail far more then on and the handling and balance would take a lot of effort to get dialed in plus $$$ for misc (skis/carbides/shocks). I also tried a 2009 1200 Renegade for about 50 miles, (box stock all factory settings). The Renegade had a very balanced feel, rode very well and cornered with very little or no inside ski lift. I know the specs for the Nytro and the Renegade are simular, (weight, hp, mpg etc) the Renegade does feel lighter and is for sure better handling and ride. The Nytro sounds great and pulls hard from low to mid range with ok top end. The Renegade feels slightly softer in low to mid range with a bit better top end.
I hope the Skidoo gives me as many trouble free miles as my Yamaha. Thanks Guys its been a great ride with you all.

I was in the same boat but I put the brakes on when I started to read about all the issues this year that the Doo's are having with the new fuel combined with being jetted lean to meat EPA standards. I don't think its a bad product I just think that until they get the fuel issue straighten out, I'm probably going to suck it up and stay on a 4 stroke.

My buddy and 2 of his friends all have new Doo 800's and all 3 took a #*$&@ this weekend up in Me and the fuel seems to be the culprit.

Huh? The doo's are two strokes. They don't make an 800 four stroke. Unless they snuck something in, the 4 is a 1200 cc. Not 800. Unless I'm confused....are they having fuel issues with the 1200 4 stroke? I wouldn't mind giving one a try...
but I'll probably just keep updating the RTX....hard not to love once dialed in. The doo 4 has to really up the game to get consideration.
