Anyone interested in riding out of Marathon for two or three days? I'm off Fri-Sun usually. If we get the snow storm that is predicted I will be riding the weekend before Christmas for sure. Very easy to do 150 miles each day from here and not hit much of the same trails twice.

Expected to get 1-2 feet by 12/17, already 8" on the ground. Trails don't open until hunting season closes 12/18. New snow should be settled and groomed nicely by end of next week.

Sound like fun, keep us posted. I would like to tag along. never been out there, I thinkn it would only be about 1.5 hour drive to get there, a lot closer then "the hill" and speculator.

We didn't get as much snow as forecast. Trails opened today and sleds are out. I'm going to take a short ride Saturday and check out conditions but forecast is calling for 41 degrees that day. Sunday even warmer. Snow forecast for next week so the weekend after Christmas hopefully will be better. I'll post again if more snow comes.

I'd love meet up for ride up that way, but definitely not this weekend. Hopefully I will get up your way a few times ro ride this season Dave. Three Bear is calling my name. Come to think of it, I can really go for a "Homer" burger right about now!

Dave, does your club have a Poker Run planned for the season yet? Would like to come up for that, if possible. Along with my buddy that came with me one time and borrower your spare sled. Except we will avoid the hidden railroad tracks this time around!

--Steve (O.C.)

PS. Hope the weather and snow holds together for you guys this weekend.

Ya Steve, I think about those tracks every time I look at the scar on my knee! I'll post when we get more snow and everyone can come ride with me. I'll even pay for the "Homer" burger if you can eat the whole thing :jump: Not aware of any poker runs scheduled as of yet but there will be some I'm sure.
