Spark Plug Boots

Most auto stores should have this. I work at a Ford dealer, and we use it alot. Ford # XG3A, works great. :4STroke:

Does anyone know where I can get cr10ek's in Ontario? Can't seem to find them.
YOUR YAMMI DEALER SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET THEM FOR YOU.

I can't explain it in technical terms, but the colder heat range plug when run at heavy loads or high RPM's absorbs more heat resulting in a more efficient burning of the fuel and less chance of detonation. This would probably be the reason for a small increase in horsepower. At higher RPM's the plug is firing more efficiently.

Thanks guys. I've heard it both ways, and would like some unbiased evidence.

Sorry... but i dont think you will find any unbiased evidence on the internet... and if you do its only word of mouth..(it comes down to trust and i believe Freddie.. If i didnt i wouldnt have boughton his awsome ECP kit).. With it i can beat 05 F7s.. Try that with a stock rx and see what happens!

I believe they make 2 more HP over the stock plugs.... But look at it this way....

2hp at the flywheel = 1hp at the track.. So its not much but non the less it is still there..

P.s.. Im not picking on you yooper.. You are just very quick to disbelieve someone!

northernsled, most Yammie dealers don't carry those plugs. I got a set from Art's sled shop in Stoufville 905-640-8274. But be prepared they aren't cheap! I don't know if they improve anything as I haven't put them in yet but something tells me Freddie isn't lying!

I just bought a box of 10 on ebay for $49.00usd. Thats the cheapest I've found the CR10EK's. Just type in CR10EK and it will come up, it said he had 4 boxes left.

Yamaha Powersports in Pickering has them, $15.00 each. Bayly and Brock Streets.

When I have my coils off the plugs, I always put some new clean silicone dielectric compound on the plug end up inside the boot. :4STroke:

Same here!
