Well I attempted to install my cr10ek plugs today but was unable to remove the plug near the clutch as the cat wrench will not come out with the plug attached. The nytro wrench had a flex joint and even in a tight space you could remove the plug. My options are to lift the gas tank out of the way slightly or purchase a plug socket, needless to say I live in the boonies and may have to cross the border to find one lol. Anyone have any tips on how to remove it or how to remove the gas tank slightly to remove the plug? Thanks for any help guys.

So is the plug loose ?
If so you can take a rubber fuel hose that just fits over the plug and pull it out that way and put the new one backin and thread it in most also !!!!!

Thanks for the idea I will have get a piece of that fuel line for sure and pack it in my tool pouch. I headed state side as the nearest store on the Canadian side that sells sockets is an hour and half away. Ace Hardware in Roseau had one plug socket left in stock, that coupled with my flex 3/8 drive worked perfectly. Hindle slip on goes on tomorrow provided it is in the mail.

I changed mine early this season and I ended up using a spark plug socket with two short extensions. Plut the plug in the socket with one short extension on and put into hole, then have the wrecnch with another short extension on and put in place on to the one already in the spark plug hole. Was not too bad to do as I recall, but you would think the proper tool would have come with it-believe the Nytro tool had a hinge on it. Good luck!

That's a easy fix... Just flip the sled upside down and it will fall right out.

Can u get a telescopic magnet in there, I use that on my rx1 and when replacing the plugs I put them in with the magnet and hold the plug with a big tie strap and put the magnet out. Haven't tried on the viper yet.

The plug tool is too long that comes with the tool kit lol, it hits the underside of tank. Although I could have flipped it lol.
