Speed Sensor Distance?

Does anyone know the distance the speed sensor is away from the gear? Could someone measure it? Thanks in advance.

If so I'd say 1/8", I can measure it once I get home tonight to comfirm.

Id' appreciate it if you would measure it. I have a the RX1 engine in a buggy and would be nice to have a functioning speedometer.
