Anyone know them very well?? They dont seem to eager to advertise.... I spoke with them on at Novi and did not seem interested at all in Totallyamaha.

I know Rob a bit Tom and have been in touch with him recently as he wants me to test his 08 Nytro setup...I will mention it to him...I know I did in the past but he wasn't in production at the time.

If you could get him to contact us we can work out something. It would be nice to see him on the site to answer questions and talk to those that do have the products.

Have you had a chance to try the 08 set up?

Unfortunately no, I was supposed to hook up and test sleds back to back but with the lack of snow and bad timing with my job and time off it didn't work out...I have heard they work amazing on the 08 with the different geometry in the suspensions.

Well iam getting them seems the best way to go to correct the 08 nytro front end geomatryI checked around at whole new front ends but once you factor in that they need different shocks or rebuilding the stock shocks. This seems to be the way to go. Anyone on here get achance to ride the 08 split rail skis on thier nytro feed back sure would be appreciated

I think I might try a new set of jre spindles along with a set of Tuner skis. The Tuners will get rid of the darting and the spindle will get rid of some of the bump steer along with lowering the sled 2inches and adds trail that the 08 didn't have to start with. The Tuner skis are a little wider than stock. These two mods would still give you a few hundred left for some other upgrades.
I have not heard that the split rail spindles have changed any geometry? maybe they have?

From talking to the owner it sounded like they may have had to with the 08 nytro the gemometry. I might be wrong. I know I have to rent specialty tools just to put them on.

I almost ordered a pair last week, but I just couldnt bring my self to spend that kind of money. For the same money, I chose the curve ski and barker exhaust, with little money left over for studs. With all the positive reviews I really wanted to try a set, hopefully one day the cost will come down (maybe Yamaha would pick them up)

Hey krysfly we are that close that next year we should try to connect and compare sleds skis and rlides.

I would be curious to see how the curves compare against the split rails.

Not trying to be rude in anyway but aftermarket exhaust in Ontario is a garaunteed ticket. I have set of curve xs white with red handles and with cardbide sure were by no means cheap. What size carbide are you running on the curve xs skis? And money left over for studs you getting a wicked deal.

I chose 6", the total was $573 shipped.
As far as the tickets, I don't think its that loud, plus its a four stroke, they look at those differently ( it looks like a stock exhaust)

Also it helps to ride with couple of 2stroke guys with pipes, makes mine sound like a electric scooter.

shawdow44 states in a post above they change the geometry

I was told that they tried to incorperate 09 geometry into the spindle...There was a write up in Super Trax mag where they tested a bunch of Nytros with the Split Rails..2010, 2008 and said the 08 seemed to feel no different than the 2010...They say they 08 set up is amazing...If I had the coin I would buy them.
