Yep the rubbers pop out (2010 nytro) when they are tilted to far back. Unloaded it out a trailer without a ramp. We had to cut the rubber to get it back in without taking them apart. I live in the same town as the manufacturer so I picked up the tool and rebuild kit.
Was thinking about running a long small diameter bolt through the ski and meaty part of the rubber so it never comes out again.....If it pops out again that’s what I’m doing or self tapper in the side.
tri tool was $30 and rebuild kit was around $180. Didn’t notice much if at any wear on the metal parts when I took it apart. Which makes me think it’s more of a design flaw opposed to parts wearing out.
Anyways here is some pics
been on there for 10 years best skis my dad has had on a snowmobile ,hands down!!!

Ran my split rails for close to 18,000km. Great ski for the Nytro. Never did like their fasteners. Would rather have a hex bolt, nut with washers. Working with that 3 prong tool was not fun.
