Avid drivers are by far the best. Not cheap but, they are worth it.

X2 I smoked my Wahl drivers halfway through the season last year. Avids are expensive but imo the best

If you need 8 tooth 2.52 pitch drivers you'll have to stay with the Wahls. Avid doesn't make them.

If you're only running a stage1 and slipping your drivers, I'm wondering if you have something else going on with your rear suspension that would cause that to happen so quickly? I don't know much of anything about the ZX2, but I wouldn't think that the power level of a stage1 would do that?
Maybe I'm wrong, but does that sound strange to anyone else?

I had this problem with my zx2...the fix was to tighten the track so there is a 1" sag.
At outside temp.
Or if you store in a heated garage at 72 degrees there would be zero sag.
I haven't had the problem since and I run stock drivers and 10 lbs boost.

Yikes I think you got the best! Something must be a miss. I have run Avids and 10-11psi stage 1 apex on a 151 and not a single issue.
Sorry I am not much help.
