2015 SRViper R-tx-Le
Hey guys new to the site just signed up and wondered if anyone could help me. Just bought new 2015 r-tx-le viper and bought 4 th rear wheel kit and no instructions came with it. Called dealer they have not done one yet and googled it no videos or any info on it . Not to difficult just don't want to screw it up. By the way lots of info on the site great job everyone.

Is the kit just 2 wheels and stubs to add on or is it a full axle set? This can make a big difference. The kit that I used required removal of the skid, but it's an extra duty setup.

I would think so to but spacing seems odd i will investigate further or just try it thanks for your help

I assume you have the factory kit. That's all there is to it, you should have 2 longer bolts to go thru the stubs. No need to even loosen the track. Did mine last year, no issues.

Yes i have factory kit the bolts go through into existing shaft or just bolt to frame by itself?

They just replace the bolts that are into the rear axle shaft. I believe they came with some thick washers also for the outside of the wheels, to hold them on.

Welcome to the forums!

If you make 3 small pieces of wood to space off the inside wheels, it is a breeze to install the outside wheels.

3 pieces of 1/2" plywood 1/2" x 1" x 6"

With the track up off the ground.

Put a piece across the inside wheels between the cogs and roll the track back, then add another and roll back and then add the last one. You will create a 1/2" gap between the track and the wheels.

No not in catalog had seen it on ebay had dealer look into it and they do have it can get you yamaha product number if you need it

I bought the kit from Country Cat. Just wanted an inexpensive fix this year.
