Yes, I would buy it as long as it has duel exhaust.

Wrong motor for me. Need boost maybe the Cat will have our clutches? Maybe Doo will be boosting their 1200? Maybe an after market offering?

Would have liked more power but guess what Yamaha just leaped ahead 10 years in the chassis department. Iv'e only seen 1 thing I don't like it looks like it has that troublesome reverse setup from the Cat 4s. Won't know for sure until pics of chaincase emerge.

All kinds of pics on Facebook of the machine broken down, looks a little more Yamaha with the hood off. Also looks like real white plastics and not cheaply painted like the Cats.
I think I'm getting one for next season, but definitely have questions. I'd get a 129" in blue, which only comes with the RTX. Aren't the RTX models geared different? I don't want anything geared lower than stock. Also is there clearance for picks...if so can you pick the 1ply Ripsaw 2?

This is a useless poll. Why dont you ask to see who likes it first?

Yes you can stud a single ply track...doo has been running them for awhile now....its a bigger head on the stud...woodys and stud boy both have them
Now I just have to find out if my Team secondary will fit this viper

well yamaha... this site has some of the most yamaha loyal riders on the internet and the poll doesnt lie.. almost twice as many people would not buy this more expensive arctic cat with less power. Personaly that blue and white looks amazing but unless they add a turbo to compete with the cat 800 and 1100 turbo its just as well to buy a REAL cat.

if I didn't own a snowmobile I might buy this lead but I would be questioning what would better ..the Arctic Cat or the Yamaha ..which both have the same exact chassis... I think this was a horrible move by Yamaha because it doesn't make sense in a business world.. it's like selling a Ford truck with a Chevy motor in it.. if this sled is so great then why did they keep the Nitro or apex around for another year?? Yamaha needed to come up with something completely different not just slapping their engine in a Arctic Cat suspension.. I was really expecting to see a twin with a turbo or something impressive... speedo with built in GPS.. or even if they would have put the 4 cylinder r1 motor in this chassis I would have been more impressed.. the Viper will be better than the nonTurbo 1100 but not better than the turbo 1100 cat..
have we really reached the age where snowmobiles can't get any better?? is this the best we can build?

Looks great.
Don't have nearly enough information to make a buy decision.
Need to see at least 1 year real world riding opinions.
A nice test ride by myself.
Then I may buy one. Tough to pay 14K for a picture and brief statement.
