It's lowered with the suspension not the tunnelI believe there is less clearance on the SRX. the suspension is deeper in the tunnel which also reduces the angle of attack.

Above is pictures of my new SRX on the left and a XTX on the right. Looking at the suspension bolt on the SRX, it is located higher in the tunnel than the XTX indicating the tunnel clearance is less on the SRX and a shallower angle of attack.. I have exactly 1 1/2" tunnel clearance between the tightest area of the coolers and track (a 2x4 is a snug fit). I am confident I can run my 1 3/4" back country track with 3/4" to spare for clearance.
