I know I will still be ordering snow trackers to test out on my sled .

It should be interesting to find out how the new Stryker skis pan out next season. :dunno:

So far the reports coming in it sounds like they're the real deal to improve the handling.

Time and miles will tell. ;)!

I'm hoping that they will be the real deal that we've all been waiting for regarding the missing link on Yamaha's version of the Pro Cross platform.

I’m ordering a set as soon as they come available as a part number. The only thing I HATE about my sled is I can not keep up in loose snow because of the push of the dual keel tuner 3. I was looking at custom coloured C&A pro’s but then Yamaha released their own “tuneable” single keel and they (Yamaha) usually get things right so if price is comparable I’ll have the stryke.

this new ski is even dumber than the tuner. even if I believed shims were the way to go, do they really believe people are going to take their skis off all the time to change the shims? would have taken nothing to put an adjustment knob for that. wow, I am impressed. 99% of us found the solution for yamahas ski issues years ago, hang them on the wall....Put different ones on and enjoy for the life of the sled. you want to take yours off mid ride, go ahead

I tried both Curves and C&A Pro skis each with 8” Slim Jim Dooly’s. C&A Pro hands down. Amazing grip in corners. The blue goes well with our sled too. I run 330hp 192 studs.

I run Curves, what did you discover between the two to sway you towards the C&A's?
Thanks

Curves x2, C&A were way to big keel, aggressive for me, just look at the hole/rut it leaves on the trail
my friends behind me would complain about the rut making them dart,, I don’t remember which model they were, I went with curves and they were way better for me.

I drove a few sleds with the C&A's and my observation was that it took too much steering effort for my liking.

I ran both under nearly identical trail conditions. Both had brand new 8” Slim Jims. I ran the Curves both before and after I added 192 studs. When I added the studs, the Curves noticeably pushed in the corners. I figured this was just the way things were going to be and I would adjust my riding to accommodate. I liked the look of the C&A Pro skis better, so I picked up a pair along with another new pair of 8” Slim Jims. Instantly noticed little to no push in the corners and I could ride the corners much harder than I could with the Curves. Wasn’t expecting this because I thought both skis would perform similarly. Nope. C&A Pro plants in the forest trails and lets you ride basically as hard as you want.

At slower speeds and while slowing down, I noticed this too from C&A compared to Curves. Just keep the flipper in happy mode all the time and you’ll be fine lol.

I don't doubt their turning ability.

No Yamaha doesn’t usually get it right when it comes to skies.

I haven’t believed a thing Snow Goer has said in years, it’s a marketing magazine. I would bet someone could dig up an old article saying how great these new Yamaha Tuner skies were when they came out!

Yamaha will never have a decent ski imo because they cater to the wimpy cry babies who worry about steering effort and darting. News flash, you can’t have slot car steering without some steering resistance.

They should IMO offer up ski choices to new buyers. How hard would it be for the dealer to have different skies in stock and upon purchase install the model the consumer wants? Not hard at all, but instead they will just market a ski that’s the best for all conditions, all riders.....that ain’t never gonna happen.

Smart money will wait until ACTUAL consumers use the product and weight in on its performance or lack there of.
