I suspect I may have messed up the install in my nytro xtx somehow. With the sled sitting on the ground I still have 2 to 3 inches of sag. Friction is reduced. The back sags back down after I pick up the back. It is almost like my stock torsion springs are too weak.

Centre shock was also rebuilt by Star. Rear shock was not rebuilt. Torsion spring set to soft.

I think I found the problem...I installed the torsion spring carriers in the lower hole. I moved them up and it is much better. Still a bit of sag but not too bad.

Unfortunately I still have 3.5" of sag in my rear suspension. I am not sure what I did wrong. Sounds like the star suspension eliminated the sag for most folks.

I unhooked the rear carrier springs and confirmed that the star suspension was not the issue. It cycled freely. It turned out to be weak springs. I bent them backward to open them up more and now there is no sag. I suspect this will be a temporary fix and I will need to replace the springs.

Btw.. I had sent an email to Robert at star last night and he got back to me today offering support. At that point I had already figured out that the issue was not with the kit.

I can't say enough about the customer service from star. Very happy.

Yeah I was going to call him tomorrow and see what he thought. I can't seem to figure out the issues. My buddy has an 08' summit with the same type of suspension as ours. That sled doesn't sag like ours does. I'll see what he says and maybe a new spring is the answer.

Did you put the carriers in the upper hole. There is an empty hole lower on the rails that is no longer needed after the suspension upgrade. Perhaps you mounted the carriers in the wrong spot?

well if some one wants them, i do have a set of take off apex xtx springs with only 4000km on them before i pulled them becasue they where too stiff on my sled.

Yeah, i might take you up on that. At least you are in canada so the exchange rate doesn't kill me. I spoke with Robert and he told me that I need to install the front shock mount as well and that should help. Since both set screws were stripped I don't know how I'm going to get that piece out. I also have the jre kit installed with lowers the rear end a lot. He suggested I put that back to stock. Then if it doesn't work I'll let you know and we can work out a price if you haven't sold them by then. Thanks

Korey

Np not in a hurry.
