I brought my 03 RX-1 home today, and when you turn the key (yes the kill switch is up) with a battery charger on 40A boost nothing happens, other than the fuel/oil pumps firing.
Connecting directly to the battery, bypassing everything gets the starter to roll, but that is the only way. Is there a solenoid that gives grief, or maybe a fuse somewhere that causes problems?
I have to apologize in advance, I haven't touched a sled in 3 years, and never did anything with the starter.
I searched, found nothing relevant.
Any help would be greatly apppreciated.

Get rid of the boost. That is a good way to fry the Relay and or blow the Fuse.
Did you check the main fuse by the battery box?
There is a relay. But, in warm weather it typically works very well. When they get wet and frozen, then they can act up.
Fully charge the battery and then give it a try.
Do you have a voltmeter? If so, trace the voltage. If there is no voltage at the starter when you try to start it, it is either the fuse or the relay.
