okk well half way through last winter i was haveing problems starting my 08 mtx, when i turned the key the pump would work but the sled wouldnt start it would just make a clicking sound and after turning the key 20 times it would finally turn over and start, when i took it out this season it did the same thing so any suggestions, i know the 07s haveing a problem but not the 08 so idk.
Sounds like a weak battery to me.

Could be a bad connection, clean and retighten the cables. Or could be battery troubles like Lowedog mentioned.

ya last year i cleaned the terminals and charged the battery, still did it, and it only does it sometimes cold or hot weather doesnt matter.
starter relay under and behind battery. it develops moisture then will freeze and not actuate. when you try to start you should hear a clicking sound in the relay cluster if not its the relay

Tbyrd's got it right: Your starter relay's probably hooped. Part # 3EL-81940-02
To confirm that it is actually the relay (AKA solenoid) you can try jumping the terminals with a screwdriver- your engine should turn over. If you don't know where it is it's a little black box that sits in front of your battery with 2 fuses and +/- terminals on it.
