Hey guys , i replaced the stator in my nytro a week ago and it was charging again showing 13.9v when running. Went on a ride this weekend and got 85 miles and then code 46 came up and sled died. I have attached a picture of the old one i changed and i looked for how this could have been damaged and did not see any pieces of metal laying around. I am going to take this apart again see what i find on the new stator.

So i am testing the stator and i get 0.3 when i ohm out the wires and when sled is running i have 11.8 volts on battery. I assume i have another bad stator so now i have to figure out why i got only 85 miles and blew this one. It is a RM STATOR that i got online.

Are the magnets in the flywheel OK?

And RMStator do not have a good reputation here. Go with a Yamaha despite the cost.

Here are some pictures of the flywheel , looks pretty worn out.

Picture is a bit blurry. Is there like metal shavings on the magnets? Looking at the original stator and this flywheel, looks like something got in and first destroyed the stator possibly producing shavings. Something had to destroy that stator and possibly the flywheel magnets. It might be out of round too. I'd replace the flywheel with a good used one and the stator with an OEM.

I have a stator from a 2003 Viper for sale if that fits.
