Still Getting Hot?

2 weeks ago i put a hole in my heat exchanger, and got my engine hot, so i changed my oil and got a used exchanger. Put it in last week and i put in 50/50 coolant then added some strait coolant trying to get a 3-2 ratio, tested the coolant it was good for -24. Today i went to test it out it was 25 degrees and it was trial about 20 min and my light was on, so i brought it to my shop and noticed the fan was on so i added some distilled water and put it away until tonight when i went back i jacked the back up and opend the rad cap and started it and it was full, the dealer suggested i do this in case it was vapor locked. Did this rode 20 min and again it boild out the overflow so i added some more distilled water and 15 min later the same thing. Whats going on? Perhaps the thermostat is stuck from when i got my engine hot? Asked a friend and he said if it was stuck it would proably get hot rite away? But this is a snowmobile and I don't know any more. My sled would never do this before and i've read of others getting hot but in the last 2 years my sled never did this and i could ride trails all day in 30 whether? Any Help would be appreciated.
 
my guess would be that you still have air in the system. not sure how you burp these newer nytros but raising the front end while filling used to work on my old sleds.

I agree plus if you overheated it once, throw away the T-stat and get a new one. The Bi-metal spring can get damaged in an overheat situation. Cheap insurance.
 
I had a hard time bleeding mine. I had to put the front end on the tailgate of my truck and then run the sled with the radiator cap off and add coolant for a while (5+ minutes) Once you do that run the sled on the ground and check the heat exchanger to see if it is getting warm/hot.
