I want to change my grips to odi or Rsi. Are the stock grips glued in? Can they be successfully removed without disturbing the heating elements?

I replaced mine, I just sliced them at the ends with a razor blade, and then tore them apart the rest of the way. I just made sure to pull apart instead of up, so that the heating elements don’t come off with it... oh and make sure to drill out the 2 rivets as well.

I think I might go with ODI. Not sure if I need 7 or 8” grips

Awesome! The glue must not be that strong then if your can tear the grips off.

The grips aren’t glued to the bars. Hence the pop rivet.
Only the heating element is glued. And yes. The glue is accually really good . Took me awhile to get all heating element off and rest of glue off bar and when I had to replace a faulty element.
