Tarzan,

Talk to Preben. He got the instructions and neccessary software from Erik last season. We have not tested it yet.
Thanks ,i will do that :)

somewhere in the neighborhood. We can argue the fractions of oz ... but for all intensive purposes gas is .8lb/gal and oil is pretty close to the same.
With the turbo on - i put almost 4 quarts in.

so half tank of gas and 1 gallon of oil makes about 32/35 lbs depends on exactly how much gas...

its probably closer to 550. Sonds brought the scales over tonight - i am about to weigh mine.

I should have weighed the turbo prior to install to find out exactly how much weight i cut before boost.

Since I usually don't ride my sled dry.... :dunno:
I am at about 577 as it sits tonight... 3 clicks on the gas gauge and full of fluids.

It would be nice to see how much both of your sleds weigh, FULL of gas. Its hard to say how much 3 bars or about a half is... Just saying... Either way the numbers are looking good fellas!

Ooo kinda off topic but uhhh how much reserve do nytros have cause last year my phazer had 2 gal with a 7 gal tank and Ik nytros have the same tank but ya

I wish I would have weighed the turbo prior to install. Maybe I will call Mark and see if he knows the weight of the kit alone. My guess on the turbo kit alone is somewhere around 25 lbs.

That would put dry weight around 520ish +\- without turbo, if quick math/logic applys correctly.

A little more pre-thought into the build and I should have weighed each part and created a chart for differences between OEM and aftermarket.

Skid, seat, front end, shocks, ski's, hood, exhaust, .....

I have weighed most of stuff before and after and it is real helpful in determining what was worth the work. I did it with a bathroom scale so nothing exact. I may have to go out and buy three scales to weigh my whole sled. I was really hoping my sled would be 470-480 dry. Depending on the front end weight I have not got yet. According to the bathroom scale I should have lost 75lbs. Prbly shaved off 85, but the taller lug track, roest plate, mountain strap, pilot skis and riser add up to about a 10lb difference. I wanna be as light as a 2 smoke rev.

These are weights ready to ride with empty gas tanks.

Most turbo kits weigh in around 45 -55lbs depending, I believe my 180 was around 44 lbs, 58 shipped in the box. My apex kit weighs in at 69 lbs shipped, 59lbs on sled.

Which would puts me about 80lb of weight drop pre turbo and sub 500. 490/495ish. I am at 577 now - minus about 35lbs of fuel and fluids and 44lbs of turbo.
If i wasn't so rivet happy ... could have shaved another 3 lb :o|

Would have been cheaper to stop drinking beer and go on a diet :)
YEAH RIGHT!!!
