Straight Rate Springs

Convert, Maximum Performance also carries the straight rate springs. I've read others on here have bought the springs from them. Here is a link to their website:
http://www.maxxperf.com

$60 each sold individually  Who the heck would want one spring :? I'll take two please :) MXZ900 what setups were you referring too what mods have you installed did it really make it ride like it should :)

I installed an Ohlins rear shock. Maxx performance revalved a viper shock for the center position along with a straight rate spring. They offer a revalved viper rear also but i chose to use an Ohlins.

Hey Convert, is that Yamaha's price or Maxx's? Did you ever find a part number? I believe Maxx's only come in blue. I'm considering trying those as well to reduce body roll.

03RX1 that was max's price not sure what the Yamaha part number is but doubt there any cheaper. Blue that sucks I have a silver ltd guess I'll have to paint them :(

has anyone compared the straight rate springs to installing the longer links & 11mm bar as i have not done anything yet & i'm leaning towards the shocks?? hey convert , you can always buy the sock covers :)

good point flyin hi  now that you mention it I already have a pair on the current shocks. Don't want anyone to think i'd prefer the blue sled over the faster more superior Silver  As for what to do first I see this as a progressive thing each mod will improve handling that much more. Just the longer links was a nice improvement
