Hey there Jason, I have and so far it seems much better. I will update everyone once I get back from the Christmas Holidays
I installed them last year, I did not change the anti-sway bar or the links but the springs stopped the front dive going into the corners. Huge improvment, I got mine from maxxperf.

I can vouch for Keith on this one.......he mentioned this solution all of last year and most thought he was smoking.......well you know.....
Jason..i just did mine. I never noticed how bad the front skid was till I got the xpert skid installed. Anyway i went with the Maxximum 1.9 rate springs. I cranked em down 1 1/8". The diff is unbelievable. Skii lift is allmost non existent & the front end rides allmost as plush as the rear. 10 minutes per side to install too!

Straight rates?
Yeah Jason I also changed my front shock springs with the springs from Maxx perf. and could see the difference right away. Very nice upgrade for sure.

I changed this fall to the straight rates and it is a noticable difference. Still won't rail like our 97 700SX, and I doubt it ever will. Those springs combined with the 136" stretch have made this a completely different handling machine. 100% Better without a doubt.Even the stock rear shock feels better.
Thanks guys!!!!!

IMO It appears that installing the straight rate springs on an 03 RX-1 is the best solution to the ski lift problem. Having the longer links also helps give the swaybar a straight equal pull. The shorter links tend to not react quick enough to the body roll that happens until its to late. I don't think you will ever make an RX-1 corner like any other pro-action chassis to date. However the suspension quality of the a-arms can be second to none and with the links and straight rate springs I think it can be made to corner in an acceptable manner. I think with the longer links and the stock valved front shocks running the OEM Yamaha 1.9 or 2.1 springs will provide the flat cornering and best ride quality most are looking for. The spring rate running the stock valved shocks would be determined by how aggressive of a rider you are. Extremely aggressive riders might want to check out the aftermarket 2.3 or 2.5s being offered by Pioneer or Maxx Performance. For best pricing or availability or questions on the OEM items give us a call or drop me an email. Thanks
