Has anyone had any problems reinstalling the stub shaft? Mine do not want to go on the block housing. Did i miss something?
Thx in advance.

Catefully look the shaft over, There's an Alignment tooth that matches the crank.

Yes i see. But i cannot put the stub shaft freely on the block. Normal?

It can be a pain if it’s not perfectly aligned. Why did you pull it apart?

You can hold the flange part you bolt on and slightly turn shaft one way or the other and it will go on.

It helps to slightly chamber the block edge and the corner of that step on the stub. Freeze the stub for an hour, warm up the block with heat gun. It'll go right in by hand.
