06 APEX RTX
I've done a search but I'm just having a heck of a time finding info on anybody studding a Cobra track on an Apex.
I have a 06 apex rtx stretched to a 137'' with cobra track and I am wondering if I'll be ok clearance wise with 1.375 stud boy power point plus studs......just looks a bit tight up in the tunnel with this track and don't wanta be hitting my exhaust if I were to bottom out the suspension.
Any Info on this will be greatly appreciated. ;)!

I have Woodys 1.450 gold diggers in the Cobra on our 06 RTX no problems in 2500 miles

i have an 06 vector 136 with cobra track and 216 woody's megabites. 4 studs per row. 2 doubles then 4 singles and so on . no issues with tunnel clearance. It

I had 4 1.450 per row on my Cobra and never had any troubles, I do run my track a little tighter just as a precaution, a stud going through the cooler can take out an engine pretty quick.

Have any of you guys had any kind of trouble with wheels or making the bends with the bigger base on the single ply studs?
Also has anyone run with 1.50 stud boys on their apex, any issues.....my buddys are sayin to go 1.50 but just wonder if anybody has used them and had any problems
Thanks again guys.

i just picked up 144 1.325 piks for my stock tracked 06 apex im hoping i can actually get some power down in this thing since the mods are done

On a 1 1/4 track 1.325's just don't get the penetration you need to stop an Apex from spinning, that gives less than 1/8th of an inch penetration. JMO

Anybody know how many studs I'll need on my 137 if I go 3 across?...would it be 168 or so??

Question on apex track

I have a question similar to yours I want to upgrade my track on my 06 apex to a 136 and put the 1.5 intense but I want to run studs. What can I run for studs on that setup?

1.325's actually have more penetration than 1/8th [closer to 3/8] but I agree they will not stop an Apex from spinning.

They are fine for safety, braking & traill riding but 1.45's or 1.575's are needed if you want good hook up on launch.

You will need 1/4 " more tunnel protection added to run 1.575's.
