studs or no studs?

all studs wear,i put in exacly what sleddingfarmer said last year and i wish i would of went with the 1.450 studs for better traction.i have 1.325 studs

144 here also but I use john masters for all my studs and carbides. Service is awesome and so are the prices.

On hard surfaces studs that are too long for the lug height tend roll over and put additional stress on the track. It's very unlikely that a 1.45" stud is going to penetrate a hard surface by 0.375" before deflecting the rubber track. The 1.325" studs are intended to stand proud to the lug on a 1.25 track by about 0.25".
