Hey I have a 2010 vector ltx gt. I am wondering if I can put studs in the rip saw track that's on her now. And if so what size will I have to get without doing any mods

I had Studboy's 1.375's in my 08 Apex ltx (same track and chassis I believe as yours) and over time they chewed into the rear muffler bracket/support almost cutting it in half. This bracket is a lot larger than what you see underneath (goes up both sides and is close to $400 (Cdn) to replace. I ended up riveting a piece of 1/8' aluminum plate to what was left. I would run nothing longer than Woody's 1.325's and would even consider the even shorter Studboy 1.280's in a 3-2-3-2 patter for a total of 135 studs

Shitty deal. Does it matter if my track just about three years old? (Original)

Does your 2010 LTX have the rear cooler? If so, you will need to rivet on chunks of old hyfax on the cooler protectors to prevent the studs from chewing up the cooling fins. The protectors are not tall enough if you run studs. Been there done that on my 07' Rage GT. G.B.

Did ours with 1 1/2 in of protection over the cooler with 1.325 recommended by Woody's. Same with my Attak. They have held up well. But you'll need to fabricate protection over the cooler.
