Hey gang, I just bought a 2017 SR Viper STX DX 137 (I was debating between the 16 and 17 but decided on the latter). As part of the deal, I had my dealer throw a cover in. He just called me and said that they cannot find the part number for it. Does anyone have that? Would it be the same as the STX DX 146? Any help would definitely be appreciated. I am hoping it will be built and ready to pick up tomorrow. I can't wait. Now we just need some snow!

I found this info from a listing on E-bay. Yamaha part number SMA-COVER-87-10 fits SRVIPER L-TX (2015, 2014), SRVIPER S-TX 137 DX (2017, 2016 ) and SRVIPER X-TX (2015, 2014) This looks like it may be the cover you need.

Yup XTX 141 is the same length tunnel as 137 in Viper at least 14,15,16 it definitly was. For 17's I would make calls or measure since I know for sure the Sidewinder 137 is now shorter tunnel than 141.

Just an FYI, as an Update to this post, for some reason Yamaha discontinued: SMA-COVER-87-10
I know this because I just tried to order a new one, mine from 2015 LTX DX , has seen better days , thanks to the Sun in the SouthWest US.

Does that mean you can swap a 141" skid into a 137" tunnel?
Yes on all till 2017.

Well that's good to know! Mod options...
17 up they just made the tail section shorter on 137" so you still could put 141" in newer it just would be a shorter rear. Not sure if Flap would clear or not. I am thinking it would.
