I am haveing my usual mid July itch for snowmobiling. Now the time drags on till Haydays. This sucks. Anyone else getting this? Every year I have it around mid July really bad. I'm out in the hot sticky weather and I'm thinking of -10 on my 4 stroke. I wunder if traffic picks up on this site around now a little bit? :o| :o| :o| :o| :o| :o| :o| :o| :o| :o| :o|

summer blues

Ya I have my 08 vector tore apart in garge and have been doing a few mods to it, i think about riding all year long, summer only means work for me, i never get away, winter is my time to play. :yam:

I got it bad right now.

;)!

With the way gas prices are and the way they're going to be, I'll be looking at my sled in the winter the way I'm looking at it now.

summer itch

the fuel prices really s*** We have been going out west for the past 15 years and last winter we skipped going because of fuel cost for tow vechicles and sled were more than what everything combined back a few years ago was. I think I will probable have to skip it this year also, cant make money fast enough anymore. :o|

I got the itch too!! i keep peeking in my garage everyday and look at my attak, i also find myself going through my riding album of pics (while stiitng on my attak) i can honestly say that is the only time i ever drink on my sled!!! i have a bit of work i have to do to it (dougnuts) i suppose if i start working on it now it will help itch the itch and pass the time not to mention a fresh polish job on my tunnel, but as posted before the days are getting shorter! oh ya this site helps with the itch too it lets all us yamanuts hang out and cry our woes to people who understand and dont think that we are really nuts!

Itch

I cut lawns on the side during the summer so to relieve my itch for riding I have been using Amsoil 2 stroke snowmobile oil in my weedeater. It is lefty over from my 2 strokes that I used to have. ( I have 2 four stroke Warriors but the smell of the 2 stroke amsoil oil while weed wacking puts my mind back to riding in the winter. I still like the smell of 2 stroke's) It brings back all the memories of riding through the years, I'm making money cutting the lawns and smiling the whole time as I am thinking about riding my sled in the dead of winter.

Got myself a new motorcycle this year. It save me boo-koo $ on gas. And I don't nearly think about my sled as much over the summer any more. But I know come HayDays, I won't be able to stand it much longer.

Can't wait for snow!

;)! Me too with some C12 gas.Makes job much more enjoyable!

Ever notice even if you use regular gas later the race gas smell last for quite a few tanks later.

I get that itch,my sled is at my business and i am at my business 5-6 days a week So I see it alot. I can not wait until we can go riding!

I find doing some PM work lessens the itch somewhat, been cleaning clutches, lubing drive bearings, general cleaning, waxing. Doing a little planning as far what I want to do next with it, such as 6" Shaper bars on my Curves ski's and so on.
