anyone can tell me what the sc does to fuel mileage. i know its a silly concern when you want a sc but i would like to trailride with it as well and wondering what kind of range it would have?

If you are making positive pressure on the boost gauge, you are using more fuel then you would be without the supercharger!

I have an '03 RX-1 Mtn. with 162, Stage I at 10 psi and I'm a big guy. Riding trails with 6" of fresh and running from 10k up to 12k+, 39 miles and I used 3.8 gallons (10 mpg). This weekend, 28 miles of powder riding in meadows, good bit of full throttle climbing, racing, harder use ~ 7 mpg. I've never seen less than 7, ever.

Just depends on how you are riding, if you are just trail riding not in the boost much it will get fairly good mileage, start working hard in the deep, boonedocking and hill climbing I have ran out in 40 miles.it takes fuel to make hp.

Travis is right-mine shows approx. 5 PSI rolling down the trail-so they like the fuel. I've got around 600-700 miles boosted-never calculated MPG-but I am putting alot more(expensive)fuel in it. That's the down side, the up side is instantaneous throttle response 10-12 PSI what a ride I gladly pony up for the fuel!

I rode Cooke City the past 4 days. My riding partner was on a stock M-7 Cat. I used 15% to 20% less fuel than he did each day with my SC Vector Mountain. We are both running 162 Mavericks and I outweigh him by at least 75 pounds (sled and rider).

pretty consistant 5.5 mpg powder mountain riding.

I'd say the average day is 7-8 for my group. 10,000'+ mostly powder boondocking.
Chest deep snow can be down to 4.
But the average riding day, compared to a stock sled, you'll be less in the throttle and therefore less fuel.
Just MO and experience.

From what I've seen and heard from customers on the trail at sea level.
Apex = 10-11 mpg
RX-1 = 12-14 mpg
Apex = 10-11 mpg
RX-1 = 12-14 mpg
