Matt, low boost (trail) setup requires 91 octane while the high boost requires a mix of 50/50 pump fuel & race gas.

Almost, but not quite... when the throttle is closed on a turbocharged engine, the turbocharger quickly loses what drives it - exhaust heat. With the supercharger being belt driven, it will contunue to produce boost based on engine RPM... so when you drop off the throttle, the engine still coasts for a bit, and continues to drive the supercharger, which continues on attempting to cram air into the engine.
