Surge Tank?

Mine was cutting out when I do standing starts , with anything under 1/3 of a tank . The two pick ups , one was not laying in bottom of tank , had to reposition it . # 30 on diagram. If you hammered through a really rough trail they must bounce around.

Thats very possible! I'd be checking that eightpilot.

I will for sure when I get home. Weird tho,, because if the surge tank is working properly then it shouldn’t matter... wouldn’t you think??

Can't keep up sucking air! You are going to need to get a look in there I think. Shouldn't be running out of fuel.

The Precision EFI fuel upgrade kit eliminates this problem as it returns the fuel right back into the fuel pump area rather than the front of the tank, this keeps that "banana clip" full at all times.

Well I pulled it out and everything looks fine. Pickups are on the bottom of the tank like they should be... Only thing i saw was the fuel pump housings gasket had a slice in it. So i swapped the entire system out with one i had from a wrecked winder i bought. Will test next week sometime if we ever get cold weather back....
