I've attached a pic. Is this normal. Lots of rust on arm as seen between the two front idlers. Track also delaminating at the edge. Sled only has 1000 miles. Is this normal? My DOO had 10,000 mile and the track and suspension looked way better.

Maybe the picture but I don't see anything I would worry about. I have that same little rust spot on the front arm. Your doo had a black suspension so you couldn't see the rust.....

If you enlarge the pic you will see rust on 2 weld points on the front silver arm pictured between the front 2 idler wheels. Also the edge of the track is fraying/delaminating all the way along.

Don't worry about it. I changed my track last year, it had 7 grand on it. The little fraying means nothing. It would have gone even more, I just wanted a different track. Check close on all the welds, The paint will crack off first. This shows the flex of the metel. Make sure the welds are holding , and not opening up more. Many people here, have redone all the welds. Some have beefed up the entire skid. Good luck, and check for cracks close, this can bring on many more problems! Ya don;'t want anything breaking at 70 miles per! Ouch:(

just take a torch and burn the strings off this will seal the edge and no more fraying
just make sure nothing flameable is around lol
