Wondering who has installed the LARGE billet style wheels in the rear of their skid.
Are they a good idea....pros...cons.
The wheels look really good compared to the stock plastic wheels.

I did and it depends on the skid you put them in. I had problems with the bottom of the transfer rod hitting the wheel. That went away when I extended the 121" to 136".
They supposedly improve top end due to the change in geometry of the track circle.

Yes. I heard that they were better for speed.
But, it sounds like a bad idea for me since I am running a 121" suspension.

I think you could still use them. I bought the ones from Mountain Perf. and I'm not sure their spacers were the right length. I used some washers to shim the wheels out a little more.

I went with 4 rear 8" wheels, the kit price was around $250 and the fourth wheel added another $70.
