There is a port on each throttle body. My centre throttle body was almost closed off. And it will make it stumble at idle and it will hesitate when you hit the throttle. The dealer willn't like to do this because you have to take off the hood and gas tank cowl to get at the adjustment screw. Yamaha is very well none to close one off. My Yamaha super tenere was closed on one side. They do this for emissions. I open the centre port to 3/4 and then balance the out side ones. My sled doesn't hunt around at idle.Never did but you say its worth checking huh? Been awhile but I do have a guage set for the bikes. Does the IACV have a effect on this? Its only on one Throttlebody I believe?

I can do that. You use either of these two ports at each body? There is a port on each throttle body. My centre throttle body was almost closed off. And adjust using this screw?

Will the dealers balance the throttle bodies or is it something I can do in my garage? Can someone explain the process?

cannondale27, You should move throttle body info into a new thread and maybe we can do a write up on the procedure to sync the throttle bodies on a FI engine. I did a write up on the procedure for carb'd engines but haven't seen one for FI engines yet.

The do believe the clutch side port has a hose hooked to it. And you use that one and there will be a port like you are showing on the other two throttle body's and that is the adjustment screw on each one. I started by opening up all three to 3/4 with the engine warmed up and then balanced out and left the centre one at 3/4. Not all engine will be the same tho. I have a four cylinder balancer. Yes they are around 150 bucks.I can do that. You use either of these two ports at each body?

If one throttle body is almost close than one cylinder is lost of air in upstart? Maybe thats why we sometimes have kickbacks?
Yes. Good idea.cannondale27, You should move throttle body info into a new thread and maybe we can do a write up on the procedure to sync the throttle bodies on a FI engine. I did a write up on the procedure for carb'd engines but haven't seen one for FI engines yet.
Here is another thing I have just found. Maybe we need these hoses to sensor. Easy enough to try!

I think you are closer to the main problems of idle and kickbacks than the new flash. Never heard about kickbacks on Nytros?

The new flash seems to be a joke. So all we Viper owners at the forum should donate some money that is dedicated to the person who once and for all solve the main problems with poor idle and kickbacks on the Viper.

These are the hoses I was talking about earlier, was it this thread or another? During the turbo install those ports were utilized. Good find. Here is another thing I have just found. Maybe we need these hoses to sensor. Easy enough to try!
