TD header, tune & afpr question

Jon... Just for reference it took me three different brands of 12 mm to get that nut to spin out. Lol.

Any chance you pulled the underside panel and came up from underneath? That's what I was doing with the wifes help ans she just said let me try with the wrench.

Fatchance warned me about it. But yes, I was reaching. Lol. It was the craziest nightmare I've ever been involved in.
I forgot to mention that I have a few sets of torx heads. Started on the heat shield that's fastened to the tunnel. Snap!!! Ohh, $hit, wrong bit (too soft) what a joke....

This is what I used for the difficult to reach header fastener...I don't remember it being difficult at all.

Make sure you get the 12 point ones.

Bob, I used the same wrench on the first header replacement, but this time around the bolt was articulated in a way it would just not bite. I used a set that I call Ball sockets but, my particular set isn't a true ball type articulating socket as it's basically a double jointed socket. They worked pretty darn slick and i was able to torque the bolts to spec with these.

;)!I ALMOST had one of those until the wife took care of business! LOL. I thought of this exact thing!

If you grind the notch too thin, it'll fold, ask me how I know!
