With the SM tunes I calibrated for max 16 at 9k. Power trail runs at 8800 or so with same clutching. I've never even set it on ecotrail.

The big reason I wanted the flasher was upgrades down the road along with riding different areas. Some areas don't care how quiet the sled is, if you change the muffler you can get a ticket (Quebec). I'll use the SM tunes there. Other areas I'll run the superquiet and crank it up(Michigan, New York). Does not take long to swap a muffler and adjust weights when getting ready for a week long trip.

I am also interested in max spool 16 for stock muffler sound. I've run muffler mod, the drone noise drives me nuts on trail, the excell pipe even though a tad louder is much better sounding.

Whos muffler mod do you run?

am I wrong or is the only "quick spool" tune TD offers Max Spool 16 which is designed for stock muffler? I'm a TD client, super quiet muffler, cold air, flasher, running "Maxpump". Really wanting to add a maxspool tune to my bag of tricks without jumping ship.

Max spool 17 and max spool 19 and 20 is available but only if you have a 3 bar map sensor.

You may be running regular Max 17

I was thinking of getting the max 16 with TD muffler mod along with cai. Was concerned about having issue with knock sensors?? I want a little more than PT. I ride the UP of MI so some trails are long and fast. Will I get what I want with this?

It should work but we have not done much testing with that combo. Start with Max spool 20 and run a little extra octane if doing long pulls (93 octane+)

This combo will work good and make big power close to 270HP. OPtimal fuel for long pulls, aggressive riding is 93, normal riding 91.

Since you have a Super Quiet muffler Your best bet is Max 17 for extra power over powertrail or Max spool 17 if you get a 3 bar map upgrade.
