Received a call from a customer who was having major issues with his TEAM primaries. Said "F it! I'm done with these damn things"

Fixed him up an Apex primary and told him that he would have to fix his secondary to keep the secondary from coming closed all the way, because of the constant tension from CAT.

Received a call yesterday from him....he said "I need to have a talk with you...." He told me that I nailed the setup! The clutch works awesome, very smooth and pulled right to the rpm he wanted, which was 8,800.

Another Yamaha previous style primary! This time on a Thundercat with the original secondary clutch.

Just curious. What tune did that TCat have? Were you running stock TCat secondary spring (-860 (155/220)? Since you said stock I would assume it was stock compression setup, not torsional conversion?
I have indications that the stock compression spring may not be enough side force way down low in secondary. Gonna try the -861 (155/240) and/or -862 (160/235).

Stock setup with the stock compression spring and stock helix.

He has the bundle tunes from TD or Hurricane
