Per the design team member from Yamaha there was an update to the 19's Helix , primary and secondary springs rivets and weight changes. Goal was to produce less belt tension to prevent belts blowing. There will be no recall on the 17 or 18 models however as not all machines were blowing belts. He said the costs to upgrade would not be bad however.
Question i have however is if your blowing belts and you have warranty would they not update these items in an attempt to fix the issue now that these new parts are out ? I am suspecting so but of course I forgot to ask him about that
