That likely means that the assets are being sold off in pieces. Anyone who was buying it as a brand/product line would focus on retention of the employees as they would want to hit the ground running. The only justification for letting people go would be to force the hand of the buyer, or the assumption that the employees are replaceable, or they place no value on the employees in their future liquidation plans.

Looks that way Mr. Sled - I am already having issues finding parts.

So far Fleabay or Marketplace has been my goto for parts that are not available from Yami or Cat dealers.

But it won't take long for that stuff to dry up.

So much like the movie survival..... Which sled do we cannibalize first?

What parts are getting hard to get?

Glad my 24 zr 9000rr just got totaled last month, bought it back from insurance and luckly got all the parts from cat to fix it and she's back on the snow, now i dont have to worry about the deprecian!! Used the left over money to purchase a 24 polaris 850 switchback xc and i love it! Polaris was blowing out left over 24's brand new sled otd for $11995.00 cant beat that deal!!

One reason you might get rid of employees that I should add, just to be complete. If you are being purchased by a competitor or another company with an equivalent employee base (say floor manufacturing talent), you may want to lay off employees early so that the purchaser does not have the assume the cost or liabilities (existing contracts or commitments) of those employees.

corporate games.. what can I say, they suck.
