Well looks like Cat and Polaris have nothing really new (save the Rush) and we all know Yamahas 2010....so its upto SkiDoo to steal the show (maybe) in 6 hours...

The biggest recession in 70 years & the 1st thing people stop buying or spending money on is toys. Might have something to do with the economy???

Market trend, dont expect much from doo either. With the way the economy is going, i wouldnt get hopes up for too much from any of the manufacturers. Not saying I dont want yami to come out with a hot new ride for 11, because thats when im due for a new one.

New sleds from any mfgr = new tooling, new marketing, new dealer training, new warranty claims. Too expensive these days in a decreased toy market. We'll know in a few hours, I guess, but I'd be astonished if Doo came up with any significant new models.

I wasn't really expecting a whole myself so I'm not that disappointed. Glad to see Yamaha is learning from their mistakes though and fixing some past issues..

I was looking at either getting a 2010 summit or 2010 M8, I like the few changes that brought the M8's numbers from 146hp to 160hp, with the M1000 only pushing 162hp I'm surprised they didn't get rid of that model altogether. Also dropped a few pounds, I'm impressed with the changes they did make, I wasn't expecting that much.

They dropped the 1000 in the trail class expect for the CRF. Im guessing they kept it there and the mount. class with the anticipation that buyers will be doing the mods to get the power up in the 170+ range. I assume if the 800s actually come out at 160 hp there wont be much room for cheap aftermarket add ons any more. Never know though.

Speaking of new models did anybody check the price of the new 500 sno-pro cat,$10399 CDN,is arctic cat on the cat-nip!.Looks like the phazer is getting less competition ever year as the only shift next year is a 550 fan version.

US pricing is the exact same as the phazer rtx. Im not sure what the CDN price is for the phazer rtx but I think the pricing is decent.

If doo comes out with a XRS again they may have my attention. My friends 2009 mxzx E-tec is an amazing machine. I am very impressed so far.

So the big news for 2010 is the rush.

Unless a turbo gets onto the doo 1200, then that is the big news from all the big 4 for next year.

With this recession, I don't blame any of the big 4.

I can pick up a 09 PHAZER RTX for $8995+tax(CDN) or a PHAZER GT for $8695+tax(CDN).Problem is its pouring rain here now :o| .08 PHAZER MTX are really cheap, $6995CDN+tax.

Other than the X-RS nothing really new at Doo either....so give it to polaris for bringing out the Rush!!!

But retail for 2010 rtx is still 10 6 CDN. Retail the Cat is cheaper. Dealers price may be different but they re still equal until you work out a deal.
