Finally got around to doing the 136" conversion on the SX-R. The host sled was a 18' ZR 6000SX snocross sled. Had to strip the whol;e rear skid and re-powdercoat it blue, strip and powdercoat the tunnel extension white and ad a #*$&@ ton of fabrication to make it work. Turned out phenomenal and this this ABSOLUTELY rips!
Skid when it was green
after it was stripped and powdercoated blue
removing old tunnel extension and putting the new one on with heater exchange
Also had to relocate the front cross shaft for the suspension and install both soncross reinforcements from Arctic Cat
COMPLETED
A ton of you guys have asked me exactly how this was done. I don't mind sharing how to do it but it's very expensive and it requires a TON of fabrication and help from both Race Depts. I appreciate all the people that followed this build, a national rep from Yamaha said countless dealers were asking them when hey were being released, lol. It WILL be for sale at the end of the season for about $10k-$11k
