THEY ARE HERE

Look at the exhaust outlets and you will see the changes. They have a deflector and the tips angle to the outside so you will be able to use the space for whatever.

There has been some mention of that today. Some of us believe its not enough of a deflection. :?

sledheadgeorge,

We build railroad machinery, the following picture is the flagship product from our Oshawa plant clearing snow on the Quebec Cartier Mining railroad. The machine sells for approximately $400,000 Canadian.

You build them and I'll run them! I run all the rail equipment for CN rail...Even those M-2s 8)

I like them all. I know I'll do all I can to get one next year. Not sure if I want an Apex RTX or an Attak. I do love the 136". All I can say is WOW!

Wonder if we can set on of those up on the trails and see if it can groom? LOL Judging by the cost of some of these high priced groomers today 400 grand could be reasonable. And I'm sure it come with alot more horse power than some of these tractors.

This did not match my expectations. I'll have to rebuild my wrecked 05 RX1ER. I'll probably trade a VMax in on a 05 VectorER for the wife.

I do like the EFI, new seat, and the revised RX front suspension. Not crazy about the wind protection and I would like to see an adjustable steering handle position. The colors do nothing for me.

congrats yamaha ;)! they far exceeded my expectations for 06. WOW! now i'm torn with which one to get, apex rtx or gt. i'm leaning towards the gt, i'll hafta see them in albany on thursday to make up my mind. rider forward, fi, tall handlebars, kicka$$ design and colors. hats off to yamaha on this one :yam: :4STroke:

Bah. BNG. BFD

Where's the STOCK TURBO RX-1????????

I remember a bunch of guys that had money bet on unnaturally aspirated sleds.

I am trying HARD to get our skid in OEM for 2006/7, then you will see some mountain sleds worth buying.

Did you have something of substance to say about the new sleds?

i think in 2005 i wouldnt be surprised to see yamaha leading in sales-BIG TIME. unless the other companies get there stuff together. u got what u wanted and stop complaining!!!

I doubt Yamaha will go from last all the way to first in sales with a $1,000 increase in price while only adding 5hp. I think Ski Doo will sell a crap load of Mach Z's though. Same price, 15 more horses, lighter. I honestly do like the looks of the Apex, but not for that price. Now it doesn't look like I can get an RX-1 for $9,000 anymore. Don't get me wrong, I love yamaha sleds, but I think they're pricing them way out of reach, especially with the little snow we get.

Mack Z is not lighter per wet weight from the factory slide show.

I could see the turbo kit being a liability issue. The law suits would killer.

Not sure where you see that. Please explain.

My father had to sign a waiver for his 03 Bender turbo kit. The Cat turbo puts their sled to 110-120 hp. The kit for the Genesis would kick it up to 200 or more hp. I'm sorry but for the avg. Joe 150 hp is enough for now. Don't get me wrong I would love a turbo kit, but just not a good idea from a corp. level ..... yet.

Makes sense, but you don't have to do that when you buy a high powered bike, car, or speed boat.

Didn't know about the waiver, can't blame the company for that one.

No paper work left at show.

I'm sorry to bitch more, but they ran out of 06 product books at this show. I wanted to show it off at work tomorrow. :o|
