I saw a Viper LTX SE for sale last week with 1,400 miles for $9,100. To me that is a good price if you are a buyer but not a seller.
Around here Skidoo Etec's sell for big money. Hard to believe. Buying a used one is like buying a grenade with the pin 3/4 pulled out.
If I were the original poster I would ask to try both out.
