Quick question...should I be using thread lock on the flex pipe and exhaust clamp bolts during reassembly? If so, use RED, or is Blue sufficient? It did not appear to have any threadlock compound on the flex pipe bolts when I removed them, but I could be wrong.

Side question....any benefit to wrapping the Y pipes and the 2-1 pipe going to the rear exhaust? Maybe keeping the pipe temps regulated for better flow?

No reason to use thread locker on them. they don't loosen.

DO NOT use wrap on exhaust parts. Don't ask me how I know. It gets wet and works opposite as it shoud under the tunnel.

Thanks. It makes all too much sense about the wrap soaking up the moisture. How bout if I wrap some plastic around the pipe wrap like some good Hefty bags or something to keep the moisture out? Ok..that was just a joke question..hahaha. Thanks for the response Mike. No threadlock needed and no pipe wrapping that will be exposed to the elements. I'll put the Saran Wrap away!
