Throttle chop killing motor

Snowy1, signal off of carb boots is definitely different, the instant you close the throttle signal goes to high vacuum, whatever it works!!!! Ken Climb, I have two boots feeding my fuel reg and the other two feed the BOV and boost gauge. Went out again today and had a great ride.

good I am glad it helped I have not had any problems sense I went with this set up I came over the top of a hill today alittle to fast got some air backed out of the throttle hard hit the ground hard, befor the motor would have died it didn,t even sputter if it will work this good I don,t see a need for efi.

Cant wait to try this! Thats the worst thing...hitting a cornice with speed and having to let off so your front end comes down ,but then sitting there dead on a big cornice cause of flame out!

so all we need to do is tie the reg line that is into the inter cooler and tie it into the two other intake boot pionts like what the bov and my boost gauge is hooked into. if this works with no problems i would love to set mine up like that. this would help many please put more replys as to resalts

I have a bender kit and have the same problem. I came over a big hill and choped the throtle, and there I sat, at the edge of a cornice. Starts like it is flooded. Can you send some pics of where you tied the regulater into. My bender has an electric supply pump.

Freak, I bought an assortment of plastic tees from the Napa store. Then I took the size tee that fit the carb boot nipple hose and jammed a leg of a larger tee (the size that fit the fuel reg hose) onto one leg of the smaller tee. What I ended up with is a tee with too small legs and one larger leg. I hope you can understand what I am trying to say. Modifying it was very easy and a nice tight press fit. You could epoxy it on but is not necessary. The p/n for the tee asst. is 715-1813. The credit for this mod belongs to Superdave. Thanks.

What is different about the McX front mount, that this doesn't happen? I notice some are using the stock fuel pumps. Do they have an electric pum also?
I have an electric pump and a regulator and have not experienced and problems.

The stock carbs left on onsome kits are for "limp home " operation only , for if the electric pump fails . Nice feature on the bender . They have shutoff valves to isolate them when under normal operation ,(vacuum operated pumps won't work under boost.)

Yes George please esplain...

Well I can vouch for this setup (Intake boots to fuel regulator ) it works awesome , I would swear my sled is fuel injected after trying it on the lake tonight .......smoothest and most responsive my sled has ever been
...no spit back or burbling when getting on and off of the throttle hard sure makes it a lot funner to ride .Also got my lighter battery and oil return pump relocation done , man what a difference.

Thanks Haller. I need to do that still. I lowered my floats to 15mm and turned out my fuel screws to 2 1/4 and it cleaned a little but the throttle chop is still just as bad. I got a bag full of t's from Napa so now time to make the line change on the fuel reg.
