Not looking at springs right now, but the diameter, number of coils and wrap or offset is all different.Explain the difference between the springs?

Will a 6-2 secondary wrap affect the rpm or is it just for back shift?
I changed my bop spring back to stock with the BV kit to bring up rpm but changed the secondary wrap at the same time. It seems good now but I'm wonder if it was the spring that brought up the rpm or was it the wrap or combination of both?

Both. It's hard to tell what the bop spring was doing as we don't know the rate of that spring. The kit was setup with the rate of the stock spring, and the wrap at 6-1 or 6-2. That combo should put your RPM's in the correct range. Glad it working now. I would like to know the rate of that spring, then we could possibly give you the correct adjustments for it.Will a 6-2 secondary wrap affect the rpm or is it just for back shift?

I liked the bop engagement but like the snap of the stock.
I'd rather the snap lol!!
I may try 6-1 just for poops and giggles but like the way it is now.
9000 wot is close enough for me if the limiter is 9100. I bump the limiter once at takeoff but will ride it s bit before adjust the heel

I am running the Big Venom kit this year on my 190 hurricane turbo.
My set up is as follows
heel center tip
3.5g 2.8g 1.5g total weight 67.8g stock primary spring, blue secondary spring wrapped at 6-1 43 deg helix.
I am actually slipping both the primary AND secondary at around 3/4 up the face of both clutches.
I have added 1 gram to the middle and wrapped at 6-2. I am not sure if 1 gram will be enough but I don't want to take too big a swing at it yet.
Unfortunately I wont be able to test until next week due to lack of snow.

With the turbo, you want to keep it wrapped 6-2 or even 6-3

Haven't posted much and thought I would give an update.....
My setup is:
Heel - 1 inch of allen screw (1/4 buried with a 3/4 loctite in after it)
Middle - empty
Tip - empty
I am running the EVO Stage 4 flash so I can rev higher. My rpms on trail were 9,511 while soft snow was 9,250
Still able to run 98mph with the 2 1/4 lug 153" track. This is with 21/41 gearing back in.

The hard thing was to eliminate the Pink stock spring because of the coil bind. Don't get me wrong, the stock secondary spring works very good, but the coil binding causes problems with achieving the top end speed and if you ind too much, it will break the spring.
That is why the kit includes a softer spring that is close to the stock one when wrapped tighter. But the smaller diameter wire allows you to not coil bind without machining the secondary.

I ran a purple secondary spring last year. I had a very hard time putting the secondary together my self. I was like a coil spring out of a 72 Chevy truck.

What would a 6-3 wrap without a turbo do?With the turbo, you want to keep it wrapped 6-2 or even 6-3
Just curious cuz I had mine at 6-2 and ran 95 with max RPM 9160. Set it to 6-1 and ran only 91 at 8790 max RPM.
Have the Gates belt, 911 cover, K&N filters, Ulmers can, and fuel controller.
