How do you get at the hidden tie rod "nut"

Take the boot off , turn the steering to get the nut out so you can get a wrench on it

Need to pull out the center pin. Use a screw driver to pry it up so you can get ahold of it. Once you see how they work, you'll get it. Buddy has a very small cats paw nail puller with the claw ground open and it works great for those pesky pins.Thanks..any trick to getting the plugs out

They make a trim pin tool that you can get from Matco, Snap-On, etc or gently with a set of side cutters
