At the beginning of last season i noticed my white tunnel starting to show scuffs from my boots.
I decided to apply paint protection film to the tunnel. Just in the areas where i see heavy wear.
This is the same stuff you see on cars to protect the hoods and fenders from rock chips
It is clear and you can barely even notice it is there, if you take your time to apply it properly.
There is a million different brands and sixes available on ebay.
I just buy the cheap stuff and re apply each summer, just for something to do.
A sheet 1 foot x 4 foot cost 6 bucks shipped.
The nice thing about it is its easy to woek with and pretty durable. If you dont like it, it can be removed.
The stuff i used came off this summer with no glue residue left behind at all..

White duct tape over the tunnel where your boots are rubbing may not be glamorous but it would do the trick and be easily removable.
Also, a tunnel wrap would work. The places I've looked charge $85 for the graphic covered tunnel wraps but I would think if you called them up they could get you a set of white ones cut up.
