MrSled.....Will you have a new SRX to add to your fleet?
That would make for one helluva gift to yourself for your upcoming wedding don’t you think?
I’be got to admit that the SRX IMHO it’s the nicest looking SW version so far.
Kudos to everyone who stepped up to the plate and ordered one, you’re going to have one awesome sled to ride next season.

I cant afford that with my wedding, #*$&@ I cant afford a new sled every year without my wedding. I had to pass on it. I like my 2017 SW and very happy with it.

id get the xtx 141 se - it has piggy back qs3 on all 4, a 1.6 2ply cobra clipped ever hole - i just dig the uncoupled thing after having em both. and its quite a bit lighter than the LTX... the LTX 137 se has both steel shocks in the rear and the srx has a steel shock in the front skid. and i just dont like the idea of 3 electric shocks to fail, remember the 06 apex electric oliens - like ronco says,,, set it and forget it.. and bending over to adjust 3 shocks a couple times a year isnt worth an extra $1500 or so... imo.

I just thought that I'd point out that the information that waldo1 mentioned regarding the use of steel shocks in his posting is not correct. The only models that Yamaha uses steel shocks in any of the 2019 sleds are the VK540 Utility sled along with the SRX 120 and SnoScoot models.
This site gives all of us an opportunity to share our knowledge and opinions but when information gets posted that is incorrect (even if it's posted with the best of intentions) I feel that the correct information should be brought forwards so that anyone considering making a purchase decision has the correct info.
Yamaha does make it confusing at times with using different versions of the aluminum bodied shocks on different sled models, but all of their performance model use aluminum bodied hi pressure gas shocks. Most have some sort of adjustments but some lack the adjustments even though the shock body itself is aluminum.
Right. Think of the base HPG shocks as a Basic Fox shock without the stickers. Almost all parts are interchangeable.I just thought that I'd point out that the information that waldo1 mentioned regarding the use of steel shocks in his posting is not correct. ok - fact checker - get your web site corrected then - well - its called a chromeium or something which is steel ----- actually . i just checked your site and the words were changed on the yamaha site to Monotube Alum-HP GAS 1.5 - it didnt say that a couple weeks ago - but my point is - VXR1 - they have 3 electronically controlled shocks and the front skid shock is a cheapo compared to last years LE . AND THE xtx SE THIS YEAR..is that better ??? so if u think your getting electronic shocks on all 4 ---- your not - and the one thats not, is a cheaper shock than youd expect on a 17, 500 sled - opps - i meen 17599 --- wana make sure im correct here - geez - talk about calling someone out ----
- im walking away -----------
