TORS system

Just bought a 03 rx1 love it !!! Its my first 4 stroke.. Dont have a manual for it yet . I see some talk on here about the TORS system!! Never heard of it !! could somone fill me in. May sound like a stupid question but like I say new to me!!! Thanks....

Throttle Over Ride System-- it detects throttle cable sticking by the pressure it detects at the thumb lever. There is a page about how to check it in the manual. Limits engine RPM to 2800-3000.

Just got my 05 last January, addiction is not even close, I kicked my smoking addiction, no kicking the RX1 !! I've already spent more in the last 4 months on this sled, than I paid for the sled. Sad thing is, it could have stayed the way it was and still been a hoot!!

I know what you are saying... I got my RX1 in March of this year to replace my '99 700SX... I haven't even rode it yet! I'm spending all my time/money 'Apexing it, lengthening it and whatever else i can think of. TY has far too many good ideas on it...
